Current Fundraising Priorities
Cardigan’s recently completed Athletic Masterplan identified several key projects that would benefit our students and our overall athletic program, and the School is actively seeking support for our long-term effort to finance these critical initiatives. In May 2022, we hope to begin construction on the two projects below with a goal that they are open for student use in the fall of 2022.
Artificial Turf Field
For the last several years, Cardigan teams have had to travel to other Lakes Region schools in search of dry fields during the early spring. The proposed artificial turf field project, adjacent to Williams Field, will provide a year-round practice facility on which our students to play lacrosse, soccer, and more.
Snow and Bike Sports Center
This project seeks to renovate the existing Surge Center into a modern space benefitting two of Cardigan’s growing athletic programs. The Snow & Bike Sports Center addresses several identified needs, including dedicated space for video review, ski and bike tuning, and equipment storage.
