Tuition & Financial Aid
Personal Expenses: All families are asked to remit a $500 deposit ($250 for day families) with their enrollment contract. These funds are in addition to the tuition fees and will be applied to a student account that is available to pay for school store purchases, optional off-campus trips, and all-program trips. Any funds remaining in this account are credited back to the families at the end of the summer.
Transportation Expenses: On June 28, July 20, and August 8 Cardigan will offer transportation for students to and from both Logan Airport in Boston ($75 each way) and JFK Airport in New York City ($150 each way.)
Cardigan Summer Session provides tuition assistance on an as-needed basis. Financial aid decisions are made independently from admission decisions, and do not affect a candidate's chances for enrollment in Summer Session. While financial aid is limited, 24% percent of 2018 Summer Session students were awarded financial aid, with the average award of $3,679.
To apply for financial aid
Complete the Parents’ Financial Statement (PFS) using 152943 as Cardigan’s code before March 8, 2019.
Once your 2017 and/or 2018 taxes are complete, upload these documents to your account on SSS: 1040, 1040A, or 1040 EZ; W2; 1099; SSS Business/Farm Statement (if applicable)
Financial aid awards are mailed to families beginning March 22, 2019. Families are asked to communicate their enrollment decision based on their financial aid award within two weeks of receiving the award. New financial aid applications submitted after the March due date are processed on a case-by-case basis and will be subject to availability of funds.
