Tuition for 2025 Summer Session
Tuition includes dormitory accommodation, classes, meals, activities, weekend trips, supervision, and for residential students, linens and laundry service. Health insurance is also included for international students.

Total Costs
Personal Expenses
An Expense Deposit of $500 for boarding students and $250 for day students is due along with the signed Enrollment Agreement. This deposit is in addition to the tuition fees and is non-refundable in case of withdrawal. When the student arrives on campus, these funds will be transferred into their personal account and will be used to pay for school store purchases, and optional, off-campus activities. Any unused balances will be returned to the family at the conclusion of the program.
Submitting your Expense Deposit is an important step in the enrollment process. It reserves your spot for Summer Session and provides you access to additional enrollment actions such as course selection, optional activity sign-ups, and permission and health forms.
Transportation Expenses
Cardigan can arrange for ground transportation for students to and from JFK Airport in New York City and Logan Airport in Boston. There is a one-way fee for this transportation: Logan Airport in Boston ($110) and JFK Airport in New York City ($220). These charges will be applied separately to the student's account. Families should schedule arrivals and departures between 11:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. in order for their student to take the Cardigan bus. Private car service is also available.

Financial Aid
Cardigan Summer Session provides tuition assistance on an as-needed basis. Financial aid decisions are made independently from admission decisions and do not affect a candidate's chances for enrollment in Summer Session. Individual circumstances will vary. While financial aid is limited, approximately 30% of Summer Session students receive financial aid.
*2025 Financial Aid application will be available on December 1, 2024. Financial Aid applications are due by February 10, 2025.
This was my son’s first time being away at sleepaway camp, so naturally I had my worries. However, he thoroughly enjoyed himself the whole time! The combination of academic rigor and good old fashioned summertime fun was unmatched. I was also excited for him to be away from the busyness of city life and enjoy new friends and nature in an idyllic setting.
