Gear Up for Adventure at Cardigan Mountain Bike Camp!
Designed for girls and boys ages 11–15, Cardigan Mountain Bike Camp is the ultimate summer experience for young riders ready to push their limits, build serious skills, and fuel their passion for mountain biking. Whether you're just starting out or already tearing up the trails, this camp delivers an action-packed week of riding, learning, and confidence-building.
Campers will explore over ten miles of epic on-campus trails—complete with beginner-friendly trails, intermediate single track, and advanced features that challenge even experienced riders. With expert coaching, a supportive community, and nonstop adventure, this is more than just a camp—it’s where future mountain bikers are made.
2026 Camp Details
- 2026 Dates: Sunday, August 16 to Saturday, August 22
- What’s Included:
- All coaching sessions (multiple sessions daily)
- Weight room sessions (rider specific workouts)
- Bike maintenance session
- Pro rider Q & A session
- Room (dorm style accommodation) & board (all meals and snacks
- Evening activities and events on our lakeside campus

Cardigan is fortunate to have 10 miles of trails on campus that feature both typical New England wooded single track (rocks and roots) and manmade technical trail features such as berms, drops, step ups, log hops, rollers, log rolls, bridges, and log rides.

Doug Clark
Camp Director & Head Coach
Doug Clark is a Professional Mountain Bike Instructors Association (PMBIA)– certified coach who has been an integral part of Cardigan’s mountain biking program for over a decade. During his tenure, he has helped build and maintain over 10 miles of singletrack on campus and has coached multiple Northern New England champions in their respective race classes.
In 2025, Mr. Clark founded the Cardigan Mountain Bike Camp, expanding opportunities for riders to develop skills and confidence on the trail. He has also coached at Sugarbush Bike Park and contributed to trail-building projects throughout Northern Vermont.

Cardigan Mountain Bike Camp is a coeducational boarding and day summer program and camp for girls and boys ages 11-15 in Canaan, New Hampshire.
