Mountain Bike Camp
In August 2025, Cardigan will offer a mountain bike camp for girls and boys ages. Open to experienced riders 11—15 years old who are looking to improve the camp will take advantage of more than ten miles of trails on campus.
Camp Details
- Dates: Monday, August 11 through Friday, August 15
- What’s Included:
- All coaching sessions
- Weight room sessions (rider specific workouts)
- Bike maintenance session
- Pro rider Q & A session
- Room (dorm style accommodation) & board (all meals and snacks)
- Evening activities and events on our lakeside campus
- Program shirt and hat
- All coaching sessions
- Cost: $1450

Cardigan is fortunate to have 10 miles of trails on campus that feature both typical New England wooded single track (rocks and roots) and manmade technical trail features such as berms, drops, step ups, log hops, rollers, log rolls, bridges, and log rides.

Doug Clark
Camp Director & Head Coach
Mr. Clark is a Professional Mountain Biking Instructors Association certified coach and has been with Cardigan's program for over eight years. During his tenure, he has helped to build and maintain over 10 miles of single track on campus. Mr. Clark has also coached at Sugarbush Downhill park and a been a trail builder in Northern Vermont. Mr. Clark also serves Cardigan as a history teacher, director of weekend activities & special events, and alpine ski coach.
