Health & Safety

In consultation with the Cardigan Health Services Team, the Summer Session Staff has developed the following health and safety protocols and procedures for Summer Session 2021. These protocols will apply to all students attending Summer Session regardless of vaccination status.

Our plans for Summer Session have been developed utilizing our protocols and experiences over this past academic year 2020-2021 and are designed to protect all members of our community. These protocols have been developed with the assumption that not all students will have the ability and/or opportunity to be vaccinated prior to the start of Summer Session, although we encourage anyone who can be to be vaccinated as soon as possible.

Masks continue to be our best method of containing any spread of the virus on campus, and will be utilized universally until the full set of testing is complete and we can be reasonably sure that there is no current on-campus infection. We recommend that every camper arrive on campus with several well-fitting cloth face coverings that can be laundered during Summer Session.

Our protocols take into account updated guidance from the CDC relative to summer youth camps. We will continue to review any additional, official guidance as it becomes available, and adjust protocols as needed.

How can we help you?
