Watch: Summer Session Academics in Action
Summer Session provides a wide range of courses in math, science, writing, reading, English as a second language, foreign languages, visual arts, and performing arts.
Our five 40-minute daily class periods encourage students to create unique personalized programs. Small class sizes, differentiated instruction, and a holistic approach allow our teachers to get to know each student and support his/her individual growth. We also encourage families to share with any student-specific goals we can address over the summer. Please view the summer 2025 Course Catalog. To learn more about the classes we offered this past summer. The 2026 course catalog will be available in February, 2026.
At the end of Summer Session, students receive effort grades and comments detailing their individual progress in each of their courses. We believe that eliminating achievement grades allows students to focus on enjoying learning.

Summer Session 2026 Dates
Full 4-week session: Saturday, July 4 to Saturday, August 1
First 2-week session: Saturday, July 4 to Saturday, July 18
Second 2-week session: Saturday, July 18 to Saturday, August 1
