Family Weekend

January 30 - February 1, 2020

We are excited to see our Cardigan families for Winter Family Weekend!
 
You are invited to attend your son's classes on Friday morning, then remember to schedule Parent/Student/Teacher conferences for Friday afternoon or Saturday morning. Everyone is invited to the New England Food Festival on Friday night. Of course there is also a full schedule of activities and athletic events during the weekend. We hope to see you at Cardigan!

Family Weekend

Important Information

Winter Term Long Weekend: Students may depart campus for Winter Term Long Weekend after their last afternoon athletic commitment on Saturday, February 1. Please ensure they sign out with their coaches properly. All students are due back by Wednesday, February 5, 2020 between 5:00 and 9:00 p.m.

Travel Information: Please complete the Winter Term Long Weekend Travel Form if you have not done so already, even if you intend to drive your son to and from school yourself.

Homestay Information: If your son is an international student who requires a homestay during the break, please make arrangements with our Travel Coordinator Erzi Willems as soon as possible at ewillems@cardigan.org. Families interested in hosting a student during the break should contact Ms. Willems to make arrangements.

Lake Placid Trip for International Students: During this break, Cardigan will offer a trip to Lake Placid, New York, home of the 1980 Winter Olympic Games. The cost for this trip is $750, and space is limited to international students only. To sign up, complete the Winter Term Long Weekend Travel Form or email your request to ewillems@cardigan.org.

Medication & Supplements: If your son needs medication for the long weekend, you can request a supply by emailing healthcenter@cardigan.org and it will be ready for you when you arrive.
