Cardigan Hockey and Lacrosse Clubs

We will continue to have optional hockey and lacrosse clubs on Thursdays during our fall club period–as well as some additional Saturday evening and Sunday afternoon sessions–to get on the ice at local rinks. If you are interested in participating in these training opportunities, you will want to bring your lacrosse and hockey gear with you this fall.

Optional Cardigan Hockey and Lacrosse Gloves and Helmets

If you would like to order custom Cardigan hockey and/or lacrosse gloves, please email Nancy Moye at nmoye@cardigan.org and include the sport, size, and your name, and your son’s name. The Bauer hockey gloves come in sizes (11", 12", 13", 14", and 15") and the Maverick lacrosse gloves come in sizes (small-10", medium-12", large-13", and XL-14" and run small).  A limited number of gloves have already been pre-ordered in each style and size. Due to the need to pre-order these, they will be available on a first-come, first-serve basis by order date.  Custom Cardigan hockey and lacrosse helmets are also available for purchase or for loan once you arrive on campus in the fall. 

Optional Cardigan Athletics Logo Wear

We will be offering two online stores for sport-specific Cardigan logo wear. Ordering this additional merchandise is completely optional. Details will be announced later this spring.

USA Hockey Registration

All Cardigan hockey players must register with USA Hockey. Please share your son’s USA Hockey Registration with Nancy Moye at nmoye@cardigan.org as soon as you register. 

Neck Protection

As Cardigan has required for several years, all hockey players under USA Hockey will be required to properly wear neck laceration protection for all practices and games effective August 1st, 2024.
