Commencement

We are excited to celebrate our Class of 2026 on Sunday, May 24, 2026!

Families should plan to arrive on campus by 9:00 a.m. and depart by 1:30 p.m. The Commencement Ceremony will begin at 10:45 a.m. If you cannot join us on campus, the ceremony will be live streamed on this page.

*Please note that the Mount Cardigan climb is only for family members. The Class of ’26 will have their own activities on campus.

9:00 a.m. - Boutonniere Pinning and Light Refreshments (Kenly Dining Hall, Cardigan Commons)
9:45 a.m. - Alumni Tie Ceremony (Clark-Morgan Porch)
10:15 a.m. - Class Photo (Chapel)
10:45 a.m. - Commencement Exercises (Commencement Tent)
12:00 - 1:30 p.m. - Buffet Luncheon (Kenly Dining Hall, Cardigan Commons)

Cardigan Announces Bob Low as Speaker for 80th Commencement

Bob Low

A member of the Cardigan community for nearly five decades, Mr. Low served on the faculty at Cardigan from 1986 to 1990 as a teacher, coach, and dorm parent, and he went on to serve at Avon Old Farms School, Holderness School, and, since 2006, Groton School, where he is currently the director of athletics.
