Parents, your son's return day will begin on campus at the Surge Center where all students will be tested. In an effort to respect your time and avoid a significant wait, we are asking for your help in selecting an arrival time for your son. We expect to be able to complete 8 tests per hour, so please select three different choices. We will do the best we can to meet preferences, but we ask that families remain flexible as we try to accommodate each family. Thank you for your partnership.
Quarantine with immediate family during March Break and refrain from gatherings with extended family or friends outside your household.
Cardigan will require a hard copy indicating a negative test result in order to return to campus. Please make arrangements to have your student tested at home using the PCR test within 7 days of returning to campus. (Day students will not be required to have a COVID test done before March 26, 2021.)
Be careful and use good judgment when making your travel plans to return to campus: the best way to get to Cardigan is a direct drive with only immediate family. If this is not possible, limit interactions with others, wear masks, practice social distancing, and avoid unnecessary stops.
Please do not arrive on campus if your son or anyone traveling with him is not feeling well or experiencing symptoms. We will be screening upon arrival and anyone with a fever or observable symptoms cannot be allowed on campus.
Please try to have your son return to Cardigan with a fresh haircut.
