Though the pandemic requires us to host Cardigan’s traditional Fall Family Weekend virtually, members of our community have been hard at work to bring that experience to you at home as much as possible.
One of the most important components of Fall Family Weekend are Parent-Student-Teacher Conferences. This year, Virtual Parent Conferences will be hosted via Zoom during these time blocks:
- October 22: 3:30 - 9:00 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time
- October 23: 3:00 - 9:00 p.m. EDT
- October 24: 10:30 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. EDT
Zoom conference schedules are bring sent to families this week next week.
Also as part of Virtual Family Weekend, we also look forward to sharing a comprehensive video update via livestream on Saturday morning, October 24, at 8:30 a.m. Among the highlights we are producing are the following:
- Welcome from Head of School Chris Day P’12,’13
- Tour of Wallach, Cardigan's new home Innovative Design, Applied Engineering, and Creative Arts
- Fall Athletics montage
- Classroom & Campus life montage
- A piano sonata performed by Junkai "Tiger" Yang ’22
At 9:00 a.m. the livestream will transition from Virtual Family Weekend to Cardigan's 32nd Annual Auction.

Please join our global community in celebrating Cardigan's 75th birthday with our first-ever online auction. Alumni artwork, online gift cards, golf packages, vintage Cardigan gear, and much more are up for bidding! Visit the auction website to browse the items and sign up to bid. The last hour of the auction will be livestreamed beginning at 9:00 a.m. EDT, immediately following the Virtual Family Weekend video.
