As temperatures in Canaan begin to fall, it is time again for the boys to start collecting winter coats for local families in need. For the past three years, Cardigan Mountain School has been instrumental in providing warm coats and snow pants for students in the Mascoma School District. The effort began in 2017 by Chapel Leader Leopold Dorilas ’19, and for the past two years the Cardigan Coat Drive has been shepherded by Carter Davis ’22 and Layton Glover ’22.
Parents, as you welcome your son home for the Thanksgiving break, please consider supporting the Cardigan Coat Drive. This year, there are two ways to give. You can bring a gently used coat or pair of snow pants to campus when you return in January, or use the online registry to buy a new coat for a child in need.
Thank you for supporting our Core Value of Compassion and our commitment to “helping the other fella!”
