Cardigan Announces Spring Break Trips for Students

Washington, D.C.

Cardigan Mountain School is thrilled to announce three exciting trips for students during the 2025 March break, offering educational and athletic opportunities designed to foster growth, teamwork, and learning.

The first option is an enriching spring trip to Washington, D.C. March 2-6, hosted by faculty members Malik Harvey and Brianna Lynch in partnership with the Close Up Foundation. This experience will immerse middle school students in meaningful learning about civic engagement, government, and the democratic process. Students will explore iconic landmarks, participate in interactive workshops, and engage with policymakers, fostering a deeper understanding of their roles as active citizens. For more information, please contact Malik Harvey via email at mharvey@cardigan.org.

For student-athletes interested in preparing for the spring athletics season, Cardigan is offering spring training trips for both baseball and lacrosse players.

The baseball trip, organized and hosted by Head Baseball Coach Greg Shapiro and Assistant Coach Corey Lawson, will take place March 19–24, 2025 at the Jackie Robinson Training Complex in Vero Beach, Florida. Players will benefit from an immersive experience that combines intensive training, skill development, and competition with building strong connections with teammates. The trip is limited to 18 players. More information is available on the Spring Break Baseball Trip page.

Cardigan Lacrosse players are invited to join Head Coach Ryan Frost P’25 for a trip to the Raleigh-Durham area of North Carolina from March 20–24. This intensive experience will allow lacrosse players to sharpen their skills, strengthen team dynamics, and prepare for the upcoming season with expert coaching. More information is available on the Spring Break Lacrosse Trip page.

Each trip promises unforgettable experiences that blend learning, teamwork, and growth for all participating students.
