Since 1945, Cardigan has developed a rich tradition of top pre-prep hockey. Many of our players have gone on to the finest secondary schools and junior programs in the country, and several Cardigan alumni have enjoyed successful college and professional careers.
Cardigan Mountain School takes great pride in providing a structured and supportive environment in which boys develop into responsible young men. We understand that athletics can play a key role in the development of a boy's character, and we remain committed to our student-athletes in the classroom and on the ice. We have four teams, each with a dedicated and experienced coaching staff. There is place for every boy to play in an environment that fosters skill development and understanding of team concepts.

“Cardigan Mountain School completely changed my life. I was extremely fortunate to have had so many incredible classmates, teammates, teachers, coaches, and mentors. After seeing a few old teachers and meeting new Cardigan faculty members, I knew right away that this is where I am supposed to be.” Coach Leisenring
