Cardigan Mountain School A boarding and day school for boys in grades 6 through 9

Staying Connected During March Break

While our boys were on vacation, the Cardigan community was busy staying connected to our alumni on campus and across the world!

Jess Bayreuther P’09,’15,’17, Pablo Rocha, and I traveled to Monterrey, Guadalajara, and Mexico City to visit with parents and alumni. Thank you to all our friends who hosted us and made us feel warm and welcome. We so appreciate our school’s relationship with the Mexican community, and we look forward to welcoming the new students we met this coming September!

Alumni Hockey Game

The oldest winter tradition at Cardigan continues to thrive! We had a great time on the ice in an evenly matched game that was decided by just one goal. Cam McCusker ’10 took home MVP honors, and the day was capped off with a wonderful reception in Frieze House hosted by the Days.

Visiting Mo Bamba

Chris and Cynthia Day P’12,’13 and I enjoyed a quick trip to Orlando, Fla. to connect with Charlie Freeman ’89 who serves as the President of Business Operations for the Orlando Magic and Mo Bamba ’14! Though Mo is out, still recovering from an injury, he was in great spirits as his teammates trounced the Pelicans. Since that game, the Magic have been on a hot streak, moving up in the standings, and ultimately clinching a playoff spot for the first time since 2012!
