Admissions
Welcome to Cardigan!
Thank you for taking the time to learn more about Cardigan. We know that the process of choosing a school is not an easy one, and we want to do all that we can to provide you with the information you need in order to make this important decision.
Like our colleagues in the classroom, we in the Admissions Office are educators, and our goal is to help each prospective student and his family find the school that is right for them…and of course, we hope that school is Cardigan!
Our program offers boys wonderful opportunities for academic, social, emotional, physical, and spiritual growth and development at a crucial stage of their adolescence. Our students interact with the adults in our community throughout each day both in and outside of the classroom, and the relationships developed through these interactions provide our boys with strong mentoring and positive role models in all aspects of their lives.
The first step to learning more about Cardigan is to complete our online inquiry form. We'll then send you and your son a package that includes our viewbook and additional information specific to his academic, athletic, or artistic interests. Then, the best way to get a feel for what the school is all about is for you and your son to come to campus for a personal visit. You will have the opportunity to tour our facilities, meet with an admissions officer, and meet and speak with current students and faculty members.
We are here to help you in this process. Please contact any of us with questions. We look forward to meeting you!
Sincerely,

What our son learned here on The Point was that if you work hard and achieve something, it feels really, really good in the end.”

Former Parent
As parents of a recent graduate, we are so thankful for Cardigan. Raising a boy in an era of entitlement, instant gratification, and the complications of social media, screen addiction and a polarized society, the Cardigan faculty has taught our child to think for himself, differentiate between right and wrong, put relationships before self-interest, and relish a challenge. He left Cardigan with countless relationships with adults; a wonderful contrast to the experiences of our friends’ children at schools at home, both public and private. It was clear that he mattered to them, and we know they mattered to him. Substance and service are at the center of everything they do. Self-importance doesn’t work there. From incredible academic preparation to inspiring coaching to daily meals where the community takes time to break bread, breathe, and just be together, we wouldn’t trade a moment of it. Our child leaves challenged, loved, and hungry to make a difference. He’s not alone either.Parent Review from Niche.com
