Misprint of the Blaze

Around this time of year Cardigan students begin to anticipate the arrival of our annual yearbook, the Blaze, which has been in print since 1958. In 2004, yearbook advisors were thrilled to receive the shipment of hard copies, which looked great at first glance. When they opened the cover, however, faces from an entirely different school were smiling back at the reader!  

The publisher quickly responded to correct the problem, and accurate yearbooks were eventually issued to Cardigan students. Still, one copy of the misprinted Blaze remains in Cardigan’s archives. It should come in handy if 2004 graduates from Beaver Local High School in Lisbon, Ohio, ever visit The Point…
