We show our students that we value what is important to them. The adults of our community teach and guide the boys in many ways: teachers, administrators, coaches, advisors, and dorm parents. Boys thrive at Cardigan because they feel a sense of fellowship, respect, and belonging as they work and play together under the supervision of adults who understand and appreciate them.

Cardigan is a member of the National Association of Independent Schools (NAIS), the Association of Boarding Schools (TABS), the Junior Boarding Schools Association (JBSA), and is accredited by the Association of Independent Schools of New England (AISNE). Cardigan Mountain School is an independent, private junior boarding and day school for boys in 6th, 7th, 8th, and 9th grade in Canaan, New Hampshire.
