PEAKS Coach (posted 05/14/19): Cardigan Mountain School seeks a person to teach a full course load of the PEAKS core course. Building close and healthy relationships with each student is the underpinning of the PEAKS Coaches’ role. Strong relationships allow the coaches to observe, listen and ask questions in a way that helps them understand each student’s experience. Coaches use knowledge of students’ strengths and challenges to facilitate the development of personal competencies and to encourage students to use this information towards a commitment to action. Assistant Director of Communications & Publications (posted 04/18/19): The Assistant Director of Communications & Publications is a writer, serves as the School’s primary editor, and will coordinate the production of the School’s publications, including the School magazine, the Cardigan Chronicle. This position draws on strong written, editorial, design, and creative communication skills to share the mission and work of the School to diverse audiences: parents, alumni, trustees, faculty, staff, students, prospective families, and the public. Associate Director of Development (posted 04/8/19): The Associate Director of Development (ADoD) is responsible for assisting the Director of Development and International Relations in the accomplishment of the mission and goals of the Development Office. The ADoD takes a leading role in oversight of the comprehensive stewardship program for the Office. She or he works in collaboration with front-office, fundraising officers and back-office database and administrators to ensure that their efforts are mission-driven, collaborative, consistent and effective in stewarding the School’s constituents.
