Priorities for Endowed Funds

The Campaign for Cardigan 2020 seeks endowment gifts in support of priorities identified in the School’s Strategic Plan. Gifts to endowment create long-term stability for the School, providing income from invested funds every year.

By establishing or adding resources to endowed funds, you ensure that your priorities at Cardigan will always receive support. For more information or to contribute to an endowed fund, please contact Sandra Hollingsworth, Director of The Campaign for Cardigan 2020, at 603.523.3745 or shollingsworth@cardigan.org

Current endowment priorities include:

  • Increasing Access: Our diverse community promotes strong character and service, and every Cardigan boy is enriched by living among different voices. A strong financial aid endowment enables the School to seek and admit Cardigan boys from all regions and experiences, so that they may learn from each other in ways that go beyond the classroom.

  • Fostering Faculty Excellence: Students thrive under expert guidance, and Cardigan seeks to attract and retain an exceptional faculty and staff. Gifts to this strategic priority help fund competitive compensation and benefits, professional development opportunities, and a healthy, stimulating, and supportive campus culture.

  • Strengthening Program: Cardigan’s mission-driven program is innovative, relevant, and responsive. Endowed support for program helps us to develop superior learning experiences for our boys each day, both in and out of the classroom, so that we prepare them to be global citizens.

  • Enriching Residential Life: The Cardigan environment intentionally supports the delivery of our program, through careful attention to faculty and student residences, shared spaces like Cardigan Commons, and campus grounds. Endowed support for facilities ensures that funds will always be available to refresh and expand the spaces where Cardigan boys live and learn.
