Capital Giving
Capital gifts can be directed toward a variety of purposes that touch every part of Cardigan Mountain School and are central to the School’s mission. Donors can select a specific purpose that matches their personal interests with the needs and priorities of the School. Such purposes include facilities, financial aid, faculty support, and academic programs.

Cardigan’s Development Office can help donors to identify gift opportunities that most closely match their own interests. For more information, please contact David Perfield by phone at 603.523.3522 or by email at dperfield@cardigan.org.

Facilities
Over the decades, gifts to build and renovate facilities have helped the Cardigan campus keep pace with the changing needs of faculty and students. From the Wakely Center to the newest dormitories, North and Dewar, Cardigan buildings owe their origin or their improvement to the generosity of alumni, trustees, parents, grandparents, and friends.

For more information, please contact David Perfield by phone at 603.523.3522 or by email at dperfield@cardigan.org.

Endowed Funds
Endowed funds generally take the form of endowed faculty chairs, named scholarships, and gifts to endow campus buildings.

Endowed funds may be established at a variety of levels, for many different programs. The School's priorities are dynamic and diverse, and donors are able to match their philanthropic interests to a wide range of needs.

An endowed fund generates income for its designated purpose or department according to spending policies established by the Cardigan trustees. Donors who establish endowed funds receive regular updates on the investment performance of their funds, along with reports from Cardigan on how income is being used from year to year.

If you would like more information regarding endowed funds, please contact David Perfield by phone at 603.523.3522 or by email at dperfield@cardigan.org.
