Thank you for a wonderful Cardigan Corral Auction! We raised well over $150,000 for Cardigan, and had a terrific time doing so. The silent auction started about 4:00 p.m., featuring one-of-a-kind experiences with our wonderful Cardigan faculty, and then we progressed to the stage for the live auction, where “Boris Lightbeard” (aka Robbie Barker ’97) helped us reach “infinity and beyond” with many of the live auction items!
A huge heartfelt Cardigan “thank you!” goes out to the Gilbert family, Maureen and Andy P’08, ’10,’13, Max ’13, and Mary Reardon GP ’08, ’10,’13, who led a fabulous team of parent volunteers in turning the gym into a spectacular vision of the Old West—complete with chuck wagon. Once the main events had concluded (and the boys were tucked in), the many hands of all of our volunteers made light work as we broke down the Cardigan Corral in less than an hour!
Plans are already underway for our 2013 Auction, and those of you who would like to help out again should feel free to email Douglas Lovell, Director of Parent Relations ( dlovell@cardigan.org) as soon as possible. Thank you all for your support! |
