The Nordic Ski team went to Proctor Academy, this afternoon, for their first event of the season. This was a non-points, early season race to give all skiers in the league a chance to test their current skills and fitness.

CMS Nordic Competes in New Hampshire Middle School Championships

The 6-8th-grade boys on the Nordic team traveled to Sandwich, NH for the annual Middle School Championships. Held on the same location as the Sandwich Fair which the school attends in the fall, the rolling 4.7km skate course proved for fast racing. CMS Nordic Boys Ski Fast at Coaches Series Race

The Cardigan Nordic Team traveled to the White Mountains Regional High School in Whitefield, NH to compete in the Coaches Series Race. With more than 800 competitors overall in the middle and high school divisions, this was the largest race we participated in this season. Cardigan Hit the Park for Slopestyle Competition

Last Wednesday, February 21st, the snowboard team traveled to Ragged Mountain for a slopestyle competition hosted by Proctor Academy. The course consisted of rails, boxes, and jumps, and the competing Cardigan athletes were excited to drop into the course as many times as possible before the event began. CMS Nordic Finishes Strong in Lakes Region Championship

The Cardigan boys skied in the Lakes Region Championship at the Holderness School this afternoon. The skiathlon format consisted of a 3km classic loop followed by a 3km skate loop. CMS Nordic competes in skate sprint races at Proctor

Cardigan Nordic Team Compete in Annual Skate Sprint Races The Nordic team headed to Proctor Academy on Wednesday, January 31st to compete in the league's annual skate sprint races. Cardigan Nordic Braves the Cold and Ice for its First Skate Race

The Nordic team participated in the first skate race of the season at Vermont Academy today, Wednesday, January 24th. Twelve of our 13 skiers participated in the race and 11 finished the entire 5km. The course was particularly fast, with rain and temperature drops last night combining for very icy conditions. Cardigan Nordic Opens Season with Great Race

The Nordic ski team had its first race of the season at Strafford Nordic Center on Wednesday, January 10. The conditions for classic skiing were perfect and the boys competed against the other Lakes Region schools over a distance of 5km. All of the skiers completed the race, led by an impressive time of 22:27 by Co-Captain Jackson MacDonald.

Nordic Skiers Make Track at First On-Snow Event

The Nordic ski team had its first event today at Proctor Academy. Designed to allow athletes time on snow at the beginning of the season, the Cardigan boys skate skied and worked on skills and technique. In spite of the cold windy conditions, all of the boys showed great improvement with their comfort on snow during our ski.
