JV Tennis Comes Away with 5-4 Win Over Dublin
On Wednesday Cardigan hosted Dublin School at the Ramos Courts and came away with a 5-4 win. Mac Gadowsky held on to win a tiebreaker 9-8 (6) and Daniel Jiang, who was down love five, won eight straight games to win 8-5. Cougars on Top 11-10
Cardigan traveled to Lebanon to face a good team who beat the Cougars earlier this year. This time around Cardigan was motivated to not let the game go right from the start. Joe Roberts led off on the mound for his third start of the season.

Thirds Laxers Defeat Laconia 6-4
Great goal tending and some beautiful assisted goals made the difference for CMS vs Laconia in our 6-4 victory. Tim Heekin and Jeronimo Ayala made beautiful passes that led to goals in the win. The Cougars look forward to hosting Eaglebrook this Saturday for one final showdown this season.

Cougars Strong Play Leads to Victory Over Lebanon
The Thirds team played strong lacrosse from the opening whistle and cruised to a 5-1 victory over Lebanon. Bo Solomon was strong in goal in the first half, stopping several point-blank shots. Casper Vaisanen, Slater Whitehead and Tim Heekin were strong on offense. Patrick Harb was sharp on ground balls.

The baseball team concluded their run of varsity opponents on Saturday with a convincing 10-3 win at Brewster Academy. Max Gregory got the start in a last-minute decision and pitched brilliantly. Through six innings he allowed three runs on only one hit, while striking out five and walking three.

On a warm, and sunny Saturday, the Thirds team took the field against visiting Newport Middle School. Colin Dowling started for Cardigan. The Thirds team struggled at the plate against Newport’s hard-throwing right-hander.

Cougars Lose to Hanover U13 Team Despite Some Good Effort
Cardigan boys came to play early on with a strong first inning putting three runs on the board. They started out strong on defense as well with a great outing from Liam Curtis who threw a bunch of strikes and rolled his defense a lot of ground balls.
