Date: 12/05/2017

Katie KoestnerOn Monday, December 11, Cardigan Mountain School will welcome Katie Koestner for two powerful and insightful presentations to our community. A national expert on student safety and teen relationship culture, Ms. Koestner is founder and executive director of Campus Outreach Services, an organization dedicated to helping students make safe and healthy decisions. She has appeared on several national television programs, including The Oprah Winfrey Show, NBC Nightly News, CNN, Good Morning America, and Entertainment Tonight

Supporting this year’s school theme of “Who Are We,” Ms. Koestner will speak to our sixth and seventh graders about the fundamentals of relationships, and explore the differences between jokes and harassment. With our eighth and ninth graders, she will discuss healthy relationships, respect, masculinity and femininity, and sexual misconduct and harassment.

Our community looks forward to having Ms. Koestner join us and share her knowledge on how teenagers can make healthy decisions and maintain positive relationships.
