Director  of  annual  giving


The director of annual giving will be responsible for creating and executing a comprehensive, year-round fundraising plan for The Annual Fund for Cardigan. The fundraising plan will include goals, strategies, and programming that aim to build and engage our donor base. This person will also work to ensure effective administration of annual fund gifts through acknowledgment letters, recognition of donors in the Annual Report, and the delivery of any necessary reports and communications, such as pledge reminders, to appropriate constituents.


Through personal visits, this individual will identify, cultivate, and steward meaningful relationships with established and potential donors, seeking and securing gifts for the Annual Fund, as well as identifying potential campaign and planned giving prospects.

Summer  Session  Teachers


The Cardigan Mountain School Summer Session looks to hire teachers and aspiring teachers for our summer program. In the mornings our students take in five class periods in Math, English, ESL, Foreign Languages, Science, Organization/study skills, Basketball, Lacrosse, Soccer, and Tennis. In the afternoon the campus looks like a traditional summer camp with a plethora of outdoor and indoor activities.

ASPIRING TEACHER PROGRAM: Observes and works with a mentor during the academic morning to build up to co-teaching classes later on in the summer, supervises two activity periods in the afternoon, and assists in dorm supervision. Classroom experience not required. Many members of this program work with their university to get class credit along with this position.

RESIDENTIAL TEACHER: Teaches four periods in the morning, supervises one activity period in the afternoon, and assists in dorm supervision. Classroom or teacher training experience required.  Classroom experience desired.

DAY TEACHER: Teaches four periods in the morning. Classroom experience desired.
